About six weeks ago we interrupted an energetic fundraiser to ask if anyone could help a homeless friend get to rehab. Vince had been publicly battling alcoholism for years. He’s written about it extensively for Speak Up. He also needed some emergency personal items.
Thanks to your generous response his financial goal was reached within 24 hours!

Vince just reached out with terrific news. He completed the 30 day rehab and detox. He is currently free of any drugs or alcohol!
“I’m 100% sober and plan on being sober tomorrow. It’s one day at a time,” he said.
Thank you for making that happen. He did the work in rehab, but without the larger community support he wouldn’t have even gotten there.
